Is ONDA open for business, and taking new clients?

Are Courts still available to receive my case, and conduct hearings if needed?
While all local courts in the DFW area are modifying their normal operating procedures, the electronic filing of your pleading is still available. Texas courts are however restricting actual courtroom hearings to only emergency and essential matters at this time. Should I wait until the COVID-19 crisis is over before I contact my lawyer?
No. If you are contemplating filing a family law matter such as divorce, modification or enforcement of a court order, it is our advice that you reach out to your ONDA attorney as soon as possible. There are many important steps that can be taken right away.
