Melissa Cowle
Associate, Attorney at LawBiography
As an associate attorney at Orsinger, Nelson, Downing & Anderson, Melissa Cowle represents clients in all areas of family law, including divorce, parental visitation, spousal support, property division, marital agreements, paternity and modifications.
In her own practice, Melissa approaches those she represents with genuine concern and a desire to put them at ease. She understands those who come to see her are good people who may be at a particularly low point in their lives. She provides them with personal attention and an unwavering commitment to their goals and needs while they navigate the challenges and stressors that often accompany an immense life change. She works with her clients to uphold their best interests and is a zealous advocate for their rights and liberties. She helps her clients plan for the future and leads them toward making the best-informed decisions for their family, as they transition to a new phase of life.
A 2016 graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Law, Melissa was active in the Student Bar Association and served as class president. Melissa earned her undergraduate degree from Southern Methodist University, where she was a member of the SMU varsity soccer team.
Melissa holds active memberships in several legal associations such as the Family Law Section of the Dallas Bar Association, Annette Stewart American Inn of Courts, the Texas Family Law Foundation and the Collin County Women Lawyers Association.
