Biography

Compassionate and well-equipped to handle complex litigation and financial matters, Avery is a strategic thinker whose goal is to craft solutions for her clients’ specific needs. She understands that not all problems are solved inside the courtroom. When agreements can be made amicably, she’s happy to come to the table and mediate. If that doesn’t work, however, she’s ready to fight.

As a child of divorce, Avery understands personally, and professionally, how deeply family challenges can shape people’s lives. She has seen firsthand how important it is to have a fierce legal advocate in your corner who not only knows the law but also understands the emotions and vulnerability that come with it. Such perspective drives her commitment to guiding clients through difficult transitions and understanding their goals, needs, and the emotional realities behind the legal issues they face.

Avery often reflects upon the insights she gained through her time as an extern with the East Baton Rouge Parish District Attorney’s Office. The nature of her work allowed Avery to meet people from all walks of life, including victims of domestic abuse and other forms of domestic violence. Through those interactions, Avery gained a new understanding of what being an effective advocate means to her. Avery strives to fight for those whose stories are often silenced or go unheard, and to help them come forward and break negative cycles they may be trapped in. Avery aims to provide advocacy that is comprehensive, accessible, and makes a meaningful difference in people’s lives. That is the kind of attorney she strives to be.

A graduate of The University of Mississippi, Avery went on to study at the Louisiana State University Paul M. Herbert Law Center. In addition to spending time with her fiancé and two rescue dogs, she loves cheering on her Ole Miss Rebels.
