Kenneth Aube
Associate, Attorney at LawBiography
Kenneth Aube built his career in the moments most people run from, when tensions peak and the stakes are real. He draws upon decades of law enforcement experience to bring clarity, control and perspective to clients facing their most difficult moments.
Born and raised in Queens, N.Y., Kenneth is the youngest of four children. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served honorably for four years, an experience that helped shape the discipline and resilience that define his career. After his service, he joined the New York City Police Department, beginning a 20-year career that took him from patrol officer to the rank of deputy inspector.
Throughout his time with the NYPD, Kenneth developed deep experience in high-pressure environments, including as a domestic violence sergeant, where he learned to identify patterns of abuse, interviewed vulnerable individuals and navigated emotionally charged situations with care and precision. He was also present during the events of Sept. 11, 2001, and ultimately served as commanding officer of the World Trade Center Command and Counterterrorism Unit, a full-circle moment in a career defined by service at the highest levels.
After retiring from the NYPD, Kenneth continued his commitment to public service as an assistant district attorney in Suffolk County, N.Y., where he prosecuted cases and worked closely with veterans, bringing empathy and accountability to his role.
Kenneth relocated to the Dallas-Fort Worth area, where he now focuses his practice on family law, including high-conflict divorces, custody matters and adoptions. His background gives him a unique ability to de-escalate conflict and guide clients through emotionally charged disputes.
Whether negotiating resolutions or advocating in court, he is known for lowering the temperature in the room while keeping his clients’ goals firmly in focus. For Kenneth, the work is about more than the outcomes. It is about helping people move forward.
Outside of his practice, Kenneth lives in Prosper, Texas, with his wife of more than 20 years and their three children. He enjoys Brazilian jiu-jitsu, travel, golf and spending time outdoors with his family, including their boxer, Penny.
