Keith Nelson Discusses Self-Care During Divorce

News

Orsinger, Nelson, Downing & Anderson partner Keith Nelson was recently quoted in the November issue of D Magazine. In an article titled, Coping With Divorce, Nelson discusses those occasions in which he counsels his clients to take a step back from their divorce – if only momentarily – to give themselves a break and practice a little more self-care.

“I can always tell when my clients have been seeing their therapist – and when they haven’t,” Nelson says. “I wish my clients wouldn’t live their divorce on a daily basis. Exercise, go on a vacation, spend time with people you love, or see a therapist. Take a break from the divorce. I call it a sanity break.”

You can read more from Nelson and other ONDA attorneys in the latest issue of D Magazine, which is on sale now.
